Alex Campbell

Alex Campbell was born in Newcastle in 1986, and is currently both a student on the MA in Creative Writing at Liverpool John Moore’s University, and in her first year of a PhD (English) at the University of Liverpool. She writes both prose and poetry, and predominantly in a style that she calls “dirty fantasy”. She is currently working on her first novel.

Paul McGuire

Paul McGuire has had work performed by the Bunbury Banter Theatre Company, and broadcast on Hayes FM and Audio Book Radio. A Writing on the Wall finalist, he won the First Writers 4th International Short Story Competition and was highly commended in the 2nd Ted Walters International Short Story Competition. Paul is currently putting the final touches to a novel, is midway through a children’s book and working on another play for Bunbury Banter. He is also working with Audio Book Radio to produce a series of short stories. He is in his second year of an M.A. course in Creative Writing, at Liverpool John Moores University.

Katie Myers

Katie Myers was born in 1971 in Liverpool and is a third year student on the BA in creative writing at Liverpool John Moores University.

Rob Philbin

Rob Philbin was born in 1988 in Basildon, Essex but has lived most of his life in Liverpool. He’s currently in his final year of an Imaginative Writing degree, at Liverpool John Moore’s University.

Catherine Selby

Catherine Selby is currently studying for her MA in Writing at Liverpool John Moores University where she completed her undergraduate degree in English with Imaginative Writing in 2002. She has had short stories published in Pool 2 (Headland Publications), Your Messages (Bluechrome), and has a story due to be published in Tell Tales 4: The Global Village (Peepal Tree Press) in February ‘09. She currently lives in Preston, Lancashire.
