About the translators
Laura Aruta
Laura Aruta is a Foreign Languages student currently attending the degree course in Languages in Comparison at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”. She studies English-Italian and Italian-English translation and her literary interests include modern plays, novels and all kinds of fiction.
Laura Aruta è una studentessa di Lingue Straniere iscritta al corso di laurea in Lingue e Culture Comparate all’Università di Napoli “L’Orientale”. Studia traduzione dall’inglese all’italiano e dall’italiano all’inglese ed i suoi interessi letterari sono i testi teatrali, i romanzi e la narrativa in generale.
Patrick Frantzen and Julia Fee Dormann
Patrick Frantzen is an English Translation Student currently studying
at Bremerhaven Hochschule (Universität). He specialises in English-German translation, and his literary interests are short fiction, science fiction, fantasy and detective fiction.
Patrick Frantzen studiert an der Bremerhavener Hochschule und übersetzt englische Texte ins Deutsche. Seine literarischen Interessen sind Kurzgeschichten, Science Fiction, Fantasy- und Kriminalromane.
Julia Fee Dormann is an English Translation Student from the Bremerhaven University in Germany. She specialises in English-German translation and her literary interests are English thrillers, novels and historical novels.
Julia Fee Dormann ist eine der Studenten an der Hochschule Bremerhaven, Deutschland, und schreibt englische Übersetzungen. Sie ist auf Englisch-Deutsch Übersetzungen spezialisiert und ihre literarischen Interessen sind englische Thriller, Romane und historische Romane.
Ceren Kıran
Ceren Kıran was born in Gönen, in 1987. She’s a 4th Grade English Translation student currently studying at Istanbul University, where she specializes in simultaneous translation and literary translation. Her second foreign language is Spanish and her literary interests are short fiction and comic books.
Ceren Kıran 1987 yılında Gönen’de doğdu. Şu an İstanbul Üniversitesi İngilizce Mütercim-Tercümanlık 4.sınıf öğrencisi olarak öğrenimini sürdürüyor. Simultane tercüme ve yazınsal çeviri alanlarında uzmanlaşıyor. İkinci yabancı dili İspanyolca, edebi ilgi alanları ise kısa hikayeler ve çizgi roman.
James Malcolm
James Malcolm is a student in his final year of high school in Gdańsk. His interests are theatre, film and literature.

Alexandra Salmon-Lefranc
Alexandra Salmon-Lefranc is a graduate of both the University of Aix-Marseille and Liverpool John Moore’s University. She is now working as a freelance translator from English and German into French. Passionate about creative writing, her literary interests include fiction, tales and short stories. In 2007, she completed the translation of a photography book entitled “Reefs Revealed” (Romain Pages Editions).
Alexandra Salmon-Lefranc est diplômée de l’Université Aix-Marseille et de Liverpool John Moore’s University. Elle travaille désormais comme traductrice indépendante de l’anglais et de l’allemand vers le français. Passionnée d‘écriture créative, Alexandra s’intéresse aux œuvres de fiction, contes et nouvelles. En 2007, elle a terminé la traduction d’un ouvrage sur la photographie intitulé « Voyage au cœur des récifs » (Romain Pages Editions).
